WHAT A WEEKEND!!!
by bash on Tuesday, August 28, 2007
This was a crazy weekend. I guess it all started Friday night with only playing half a game. I had planned on getting photos up on the site following the game, but I think the "computer devil" thought different. Had a terrible time trying to get my computer to do what I wanted to. Finally, using pieces and parts (and a big hammer.... just kidding) I got it back running Saturday. By the time I had this done, it was time to go to the 2nd half of the THS/Lincoln Co. game.

After this game, I thought that I would come back and start loading photos. But when I tried to log into my server, nothing happened.... I had forgotten that Crazy Blake's (where the Wildcat Web server is) had scheduled a maintenance weekend and that the site would be down for the rest of the weekend and possibly Monday.

Wildcats Welcome Old Rival to Open Season
by Shasteen on Thursday, August 23, 2007
The Tullahoma Wildcats will open the 2007 high school football season when they welcome old-rival Lincoln Co. to Wilkins Stadium on Friday, Aug. 24, with kickoff scheduled for 7pm.

The Lincoln Co. contest will be broadcast on the radio at AM 740 and on the internet at fantasyradio.com. You can find complete coverage of Region 5-4A at Region54A.com, and complete coverage of high school football throughout the state at MurphyFair.com.

The two teams, members of the old Southern Tennessee Conference who played each other every year, have not met in a decade. Both have been consistent playoff participants, and both look to get their seasons off to a quick start with a win Friday night.

For the Wildcats, the task of replacing a significant portion of their offensive firepower while also welcoming back only a pair of defensive starters is daunting. If history is any indication though, John Olive and his coaching staff are more than capable of meeting the challenge.

Fan Feast and Auction A Success
by bash on Wednesday, August 15, 2007
Thanks to everyone that helped and bid on all of the items we had for the auction. We are in the process of getting everything together to present Coach Olive and the Tullahoma Quarterback Club a check. Many thanks go out to those businesses who donated items for the auction. We will let everyone know of the total as soon as we get everything figured up. (Read More Below)

Region Coaches See 'Cats on Playoff Fence
by Shasteen on Tuesday, August 7, 2007
According to Murphy Fair's Tennessee High School Football Preview, coaches in Region 5-4A see the Tullahoma Wildcats as a team riding the playoff fence.

All seven region coaches provided input to the preseason poll. The Hillsboro Burros are the clear first-place choice, with Maplewood predicted to finish second.

Despite having only six seniors, the Stratford Spartans are picked third. Tullahoma and Whites Creek finished in a tie for fourth, with Shelbyville picked sixth and Lawrence Co. seventh.

Wildcat fans can pick up a copy of Murphy's magazine at Sports Plus on Atlantic Street. All proceeds from the sales go to the Tullahoma Quarterback Club.

Red White Game Photos
by bash on Saturday, May 19, 2007
The annual Red-White game was played Friday night at Waggoner Park. The Wildcats were divided into two separate teams to play each other. Many fans came out to brave the chilly evening. Along the sidelines, faithfull fans cheered on the Cats.
Following the game, Coach Olive told the players that he saw some very good plays tonight on offense and defense on both teams.

Football Time in Tullahoma...

Being that our server decided that it wanted to take on a mind of it's own again, we decided that it would be best just to retire that old thing. So we did. Thanks to Blake and Roger at Midtnn.net we are now on a new server and appear to be running great. Thanks guys!!!
